Angle Developments/Notes:
1. McMahon, Savage and Lawler are hanging out at a fountain in Nevada for this show. Lex Luger stopped by and talks about Mr. Perfect will lose to the man who is beyond perfection, himself!
2. Mean Gene conducted an interview with Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake regarding their upcoming match at WrestleMania IX against the WWF World Tag Team Champions Money Inc. Hogan thinks that if you believe in the youth of America, then you believe in Hulk Hogan. He wants Bill Clinton to sleep well after Sunday because they are going to beat Money Inc. Jimmy Hart tells us that they are lining up the top tag teams to wrestle Hogan and Beefcake. They are just talking about having the tag team titles and how good they will look on their motorcycles. Hogan doesn’t want the fans to worry about Beefcake’s face because they have been hitting Beefcake in the face with various objects. Hogan hits Beefcake in the face with a steel briefcase to prove his point.
3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels is interviewed at pool side. He says that Tatanka has a lot in common with the losers in Las Vegas. He relies on luck while Michaels relies on skill. Tatanka’s luck will run out eventually.
4. Harvey Wippleman and Giant Gonzalez are interviewed. Gonzalez is actually wearing a suit. Harvey says his man is going to end the Undertaker once and for all. Gonzalez says Undertaker just rolled snake eyes!
5. WWF World Champion Bret Hart was interviewed to close the show. Hart says it was like a bulldozer running over you and then backing over you again. He isn’t going to fall for the Bonzai Drop at WrestleMania IX. Hart admits he is a little sore, but that has been the case before. Savage tells Hart that he has nothing but respect for the champ. Savage wishes Hart luck at WrestleMania IX.
Final Thoughts:
It just an episode that hypes up WrestleMania IX and really nothing more. Thus, this gets a thumbs down since there is no real reason to sit through it.
