From: Wilkes-Barre, PA

Matches:
1.)Jim Duggan defeated Duane Gill
2.)Ludvig Borga defeated Tony Dimauro
3.)WWF World Tag Team Champions the Steiner Brothers defeated Money Inc. by count-out to retain the titles
4.)The 1-2-3 Kid defeated Barry Horowitz
5.)The Quebecers defeated Tony Webb & Rich Myers

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Jim Duggan lets us know before his match that he is proud of Lex Luger. Now with Luger having a similar gimmick to Duggan, it shouldn’t be long until Duggan is gone from the company.

2. Gorilla Monsoon hosts WWF Update this week and once again it’s about Lex Luger. The fans want Luger to get a title shot and have been flooding Jack Tunney with mail. Tunney calls into the show to announce whether or not Luger will get a title shot at SummerSlam. Tunney announces that Luger gets a championship match but there will be a stipulation. The stipulation is that Luger will need to wear a protective pad over his arm with a steel plate. It’s on at SummerSlam!

3. It’s time for the tag team title rematch! IRS starts off the match with a scoop slam on Scott. IRS continues to get the better of Scott with a hip toss. Scott scoop slams IRS and DiBiase. Rick gets involved and cleans house with a couple of clotheslines! Scott is double teamed in the corner as Rick distracted the referee. DiBiase tosses Scott to the floor but the Steiner Brothers climb to the top and leap off to hit double axe handles and send the challengers to the floor! DiBiase is backdropped out of the corner by Rick but sends him to the floor where IRS chokes him with a rope. Rick is rammed face first into the ring steps by DiBiase. DiBiase keeps control in the ring with a backbreaker but Rick kicks out at two. IRS comes off the top to clothesline Rick to continue the beat down on Rick. Rick is worked over for a few moments but nearly pins DiBiase but the referee is distracted by IRS. Rick drops IRS with a jaw breaker but he isn’t able to make the tag as DiBiase cuts him off. DiBiase and Rick collide in the middle of the ring following a double clothesline. Scott gets the hot tag and backdrops IRS. Scott also hits a power slam on IRS. Scott drives IRS down with a double under hook powerbomb for a near fall! All four men are on the floor. IRS sends Scott into the ring post! IRS suplexs Scott from the apron back into the ring but IRS has been counted out! (**1/2. Not as good as their match last week, but it was a decent match.)

Final Thoughts:
An average episode at best here. The featured match wasn’t nearly as good as it was last week, so there isn’t any need to check this one out. Thus, this gets a thumbs down from me.

Thanks for reading.
