Angle Developments/Notes:
1. A recap of the Lex Luger/Yokozuna feud was shown to open the broadcast this week. We hear from Cornette, Yokozuna and Fuji. Cornette says that Luger blew his one and only shot against Yokozuna. There will not be a rematch for Luger due to what Cornette put in the contract. Cornette talks about the forearm and how scared he was that Yokozuna was knocked out. Cornette believes that Luger will never get another chance at the WWF World Championship.

2. Vince McMahon sat down with Lex Luger regarding SummerSlam. Luger thanks everyone he met while the Lex Express was happening. Luger is really going over the top saying he could feel the fans spirit behind him. He considers it an honor to represent the United States of America at SummerSlam. Luger doesn’t feel like he lost anything, though he didn’t win the WWF World Championship. He still believes in himself and his country. Luger hopes the fans still have trust and faith in him to win the WWF World Championship someday in the future.

3. Ludvig Borga is back to share his thoughts on America. He is standing in a ghetto. As you can imagine it’s not a pleasant sight. Borga says that America is crumbling. Borga is going to destroy all the American wrestlers and wishes them a happy Labor day, only to wish they choke on it.

Final Thoughts:
Basically just an episode to try and keep the fans behind Lex Luger as he looks to get Yokozuna again. Considering the next few episodes were taped before SummerSlam, I wouldn’t expect any new developments to take place for a month or so.
