Written by: Bob Colling

World Wrestling Federation presents Superstars
Date:
11/12/1994
From: Burlington, VT

Matches:
1.)Lex Luger defeated Gary Scott
2.)Owen Hart defeated Tony DeVito
3.)Bob Holly defeated Roy Raymond
4.)Bob Backlund defeated Bert Centeno
5.)the Smoking Gunns fought Tatanka & Bam-Bam Bigelow to a double disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Jim Cornette, Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna regarding Yoko’s match against the Undertaker at Survivor Series. Yoko gets freaked out at the mention of a casket match. So, the fans begin to chant casket over and over again. Cornette says that the Undertaker’s only blemish is when he lost to Yokozuna in a casket match back at the Royal Rumble. Cornette says the wrestlers that came out during that match just came out to get a closer look at the action. McMahon mentions that Chuck Norris will be the special enforcer. Cornette thinks that means that the Undertaker is afraid. Cornette puts Yoko over as being the baddest dude. He says that Yoko is going to take the Undertaker’s soul at Survivor Series.

2. Tatanka and Bigelow attack the Gunns before the bell sounds and Bart is sent to the floor and hits his lower back on the apron rather hard. The Gunns comeback with dropkicks to send the heels to the floor. Billy and Bigelow start the bout with Bigelow hammering away on Billy. Billy knocks Bigelow down with a dropkick for a near fall. Bart tags in to hit an axe handle off the top rope. Bigelow misses Bart in the corner on a splash attempt. Bart proceeds to hammer away on Bigelow but is stopped with an atomic drop. Tatanka returns to beat down Bart. Bart hip tosses Tatanka to get the control of the tag bout. The Gunns work over Bigelow with a double dropkick and double side Russian leg sweep! The Gunns knock the heels to the floor with a clothesline and dropkick. Here comes King Kong Bundy and Tom Pritchard. Jimmy Del Ray is not out there, oddly. This brings out Lex Luger, Men on a Mission and Adam Bomb. Tatanka knees Billy from the apron and Bigelow turns him inside out with a clothesline. Bigelow collides with Billy in the middle of the ring. Tatanka and Bart get the tags with Bart cleaning house on the heels. Bart dropkicks Bigelow and along with Billy hit a side slam/leg drop combo! Bart is knocked off the apron and into the guard railing. All the guys around the ringside area begin to brawl and that causes a double disqualification. (**1/2. A decent enough tag match. It seems like every time there are matches involving Survivor Series team members there is always a massive brawl. So, this was just a standard match to hype up the pay per view match.)

Final Thoughts:
A solid episode of Superstars this week. They are doing a fine job promoting the important matches at Survivor Series. No complaints with this one.

Thanks for reading.
