Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Earthquake, Dino Bravo and Jimmy Hart share some comments during Tugboat’s match. Bravo says that Tugboat is going to be pushed down into Davey Jones locker.
2. Brother Love is back and has Rick Martel by his side. Martel says that arrogance is not a right but rather a privilege Love’s real guest this week is the Legion of Doom! Hawk and Animal make their way over to the set to a pretty good ovation. Hawk tells Love that they aren’t his brothers. They did what they intended to do and that was have the Hart Foundation’s back. Animal tells Love that he doesn’t tell them what to do. Animal says that they don’t walk in the shadows of any team. Animal says they want a piece of Demolition.
3. Sapphire is accompanying Ted DiBiase to ring now that it had been revealed at SummerSlam that she was getting gifts from DiBiase.
4. Saba Simba is actually Tony Atlas. This is his return after a four year absence. Simba’s finishing move is a Samoan Drop.
Final Thoughts:
An average episode this week as it wasn’t up to the standards of the previous couple of weeks. There weren’t any feuds addressed on this show that are all that interesting to me, really. Plus, Tony Atlas back in the WWF in 1990 doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Thanks for reading.
