Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Ric Flair starts the show with a bunch of women in a limo saying that everyone is coming to WCW Saturday Night.

2.) Footage from Worldwide is shown where the Hollywood Blondes won the WCW World Tag Team Championships when Austin hit Steamboat with one of the titles.

3.) The new champions are interviewed by Tony Schiavone. Pillman says we are looking at the next dynasty in wrestling. Austin chimes in and says that Tony is shaking because he is standing next to them. Austin says everyone makes them sick and suggests they try to touch greatness because they never will be.

4.) Johnny B. Badd is interviewed after his squash match. Badd says that his face is so pretty after yet another victory. He is running for a title match since he is rising up the ranks. Johnny wants a piece of NWA World Champion Barry Windham.

5.) Jesse Ventura talked with the Cole Twins. Ventura puts them over and gets their names mixed up. Apparently, they don’t know what a fan club is all about. Ventura says they are stars as a result of the fan club. They are extremely giddy and leave the interview happy as can be.

6.) Sting chats with Tony Schiavone after his quick win. Sting asks Schiavone what happens when new attractions come into the company. He hypes up all the top stars under one roof and says it’s a wild type of thing. Okay.

7.) Jesse Ventura tries his hand at interviewing Barry Windham instead of Schiavone. Ventura puts over Windham winning at Superbrawl. Barry thanks Ventura for having class and says he is going to let anyone at his championship. Ventura mentions Ric Flair and Windham walks off as he has the past several weeks.

8.) This marked Arn Anderson’s return to the ring after a four month absence.

9.) Tony Schiavone is with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson to finish the show. Flair says he could make a living managing Anderson to the top championship. Flair talks about Slamboree, seemingly the first mention of the pay per view, and hypes up a match between Barry Windham and Arn Anderson taking place at the pay per view on May 23rd. Anderson wants Flair to put the boots on and wants there to be a tag match. Flair isn’t ready to step back into the ring and walks away laughing. Arn says that when the time is right heads are going to roll.

Final Thoughts:
Another subpar episode of Saturday Night to continue a trend. Looks like the Cole Twins are going to turn heel with an inflated ego. That won’t make me care about them. The slow build of a Windham/Flair match is interesting and good thing the belts were put on Austin & Pillman. They are starting to mention Slamboree so the show should have more going on in the next week or two.

Thanks for reading.
