ECW Hardcore TV 3/28/1995

Written by: Bob Colling

Extreme Championship Wrestling presents Hardcore TV
Date:
3/28/1995
From: Philadelphia, PA

Matches:
1.) Mikey Whipwreck defeated Jason
2.) Tommy Dreamer failed to win the gauntlet involving Tony Stetson, Johnny Hotbody, Stevie Richards and Raven.
3.) Sabu defeated Mikey Whipwreck

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Dean Malenko was interviewed by Joey Styles following last weeks program, which we see tonight. Styles reminds Malenko that he lost the ECW Television Championship to 2 Cold Scorpio but still puts over the Triple Threat as dominating the company. Malenko doesn’t say a word and just cracks his hands before leaving the scene.

2.) Paul E. Dangerously cuts a promo on Ron Simmons saying that Ron isn’t going to distract his men from the triple threat tag team match. Dangerously assures Simmons that if he needs to get 911 it will be a far worse beating than last week.

3.) Dreamer got through the first three opponents of the gauntlet match, but was unable to defeat Raven. Raven handcuffed a bloodied Dreamer to the middle rope while on the floor and hit his rival with a steel chair. Dreamer was an absolute bloody mess.

4.) Marty Jannetty was supposed to wrestle Sabu on the program, but his flight got delayed in Orlando.

Final Thoughts:
Nothing really going on this week for ECW as the company focused on minor feuds, for the most part. The Raven/Dreamer segment was alright with a bloody Dreamer also being a fascinating sight to see. Aside from that, it’s a lackluster week worth of programming.
