Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Dustin Rhodes is interviewed following his squash victory. Rhodes has a bull rope around his neck as he will be wrestling Bunkhouse Buck in a bull rope match at Slamboree. Dustin has a black and blue eye from Spring Stampede. Rhodes says his feud with Buck is far from being over with. Rhodes wants Buck to meet him in a bull rope match. Dustin doesn’t think Buck has the guts to meet him at Slamboree in a bull rope match.
2.) Col. Robert Parker is interviewed with briefcase in hand. Parker says that Steve Austin will take care of Johnny B. Badd in an upcoming title match on television. Parker prevents Mean Gene from opening his briefcase which he says has an idea. Parker wants Flair to wrestle Austin. Parker declines the challenge from Rhodes to wrestle Buck again.
3.) Sensational Sherri makes her debut in WCW and is interviewed by Mean Gene. Sherri kisses Gene who is loving this segment. Sherri says she is here in WCW for a reason and thinks there is a special person out there who can fulfill all of her needs. Her needs are to have a man win the WCW World Championship. The man must be strong and handsome. Sherri says that is what she wants and those are her needs.
4.) WCW Television Champion Lord Steven Regal is interviewed to end the program. Regal says the show is seen all over the world and they witnessed Larry Zbyszko embarrassing him by leaving an interview. Regal says that Larry is just like everyone else as being an uneducated human. Regal is frustrated with Zbyszko and demands a public apology next week and wants Zbyszko to write a letter to the queen.
Final Thoughts:
Action wise this left a lot to be desired as there wasn’t a feature match involving top quality talent on the show. Regal is making his issue with Zbyszko rather entertaining. Sherri in WCW is fine as long as she manages someone new to the main event scene. This was mainly a filler week for television.
