Marquez clotheslines Willy after he got distracted on the apron. Marquez ducks a clothesline and takes Willy over with a German suplex. Chilly power slams Marquez and plays to the crowd. Diamond gets on the apron to distract Willy. Willy knocks another guy off the apron and Marquez hit a packaged brain buster for the win. (1/2*. As usual with Willy’s matches this was pretty short. I was quite surprised that Marquez went over.)

Second Contest: Julio Dinero vs. Mikey Whipwreck: Mikey controls the left arm of Dinero at the start of the match. Dinero comes back with an arm drag but gets backdropped to the apron. Mikey lays Dinero across the middle rope and hit a leg drop into the ring. Whipwreck dropkicks Dinero while on the apron and they both go to the floor. Whipwreck drives Dinero into the guard railing with a side Russian leg sweep. Mikey has a chair but puts it down and flips off the crowd when they boo him for that. Mikey decks Dinero with a few right hands and keeps control on the canvas. Dinero runs into a big boot but hip tosses Mikey only to miss a springboard moonsault. Mikey clotheslines Dinero but Dinero came back with a Rock Bottom! Dinero continues with a swinging neck breaker and a super kick. Dinero nails Mikey with a leaping kick for a two count. Mikey avoids Dinero in the corner and hit a side Russian leg sweep. Sinister Minster comes down to ringside and distracts Mikey. Dinero gets crotched by Minister which allows Mikey to hit a middle rope Whippersnapper for the win. (**. Dinero looked good here and Whipwreck has a new interest in him with his character and association with Minister. This was a fine undercard match.)

Third Contest: Rhino vs. Johnny Swinger: Rhino runs into the ring and Swinger hit a cobra clutch side Russian leg sweep followed by right hands. Rhino comes back with a spine buster and ducks a clothesline to hit a GORE! Rhino spikes Swinger with a piledriver and wins the match. Yeah, that was an entertaining quick squash match. After the match, Jack Victory sends a table into the ring for Rhino to use. Rhino GORES Swinger’s sidekick through the table in the corner because he’s a beast and can do that sort of thing.

Fourth Contest: ECW Television Champion Super Crazy vs. Little Guido: Early on, Guido gets a two count following a swinging neck breaker and chops Crazy in the corner. Crazy rolls through a cross body and arm drags Guido. Crazy hammers away on Guido in the corner knocking Guido to the canvas. Crazy lands on his feet on a monkey flip attempt and hit a springboard moonsault for a two count. Crazy baseball slides Guido into the crowd and Big Sal gets dumped into the crowd as well. Crazy takes both men out with a springboard moonsault into the crowd! Back in the ring, Guido nearly wins after a slingshot leg drop. Guido drops Crazy with an elbow strike and stomps Crazy in the corner. Crazy went for a head scissors but Guido slams Crazy gut first to the canvas. Guido knocks the referee down and Crazy hit a tornado DDT. Big Sal gets in the ring and catches Crazy with a power slam. Guido leaps off of Sal’s shoulders to hit an elbow drop but Crazy kicked out at two! Guido continues with a back suplex for another two count. Guido gets stopped by a low blow and Crazy almost wins with a power bomb! They begin to trade ope hand chops until Crazy plants Guido with a brain buster and a springboard moonsault for the win. (***. It felt like a relatively quick match but the action was constant and I enjoyed what they put together here. Good stuff, as usual with these two during this era.)

Fifth Contest: Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. Spanish Angel & DeVito: All four men are in the ring brawling after they exchanged words. Roadkill and Doring get the advantage with Roadkill splashing both men in the corner. Doring hit a jaw breaker on DeVito and Roadkill slams Angel. Doring comes off the middle rope to elbow drop Angel and plays to the crowd. Vic Grimes distracts Doring causing DeVito to knock Doring to the floor and Grimes gets some cheap shots in. DeVito works over Doring with a reverse DDT for a two count. Angel tags in and drives Doring down with a double flapjack. Angel takes Doring over with a gut wrench suplex and a standing dropkick. DeVito keeps control over Doring in his own corner for a few moments. DeVito plants Doring with a side slam but can’t keep him down on the cover attempt. DeVito holds Doring on the apron for Angel who hit an overhead belly to belly suplex. Grimes gets a few more cheap shots in. Angel misses a splash in the corner and Doring tries to tag out to Roadkill. Here comes Roadkill and he cleans house with clotheslines and a side slam. Roadkill power slams Angel and Doring dropkicks Grimes off the apron. Roadkill side slams DeVito and they hit a Hart Attack off the middle rope. Grimes tries to get involved but Roadkill hit a clothesline off the top to take him out. DeVito gets finished off with a middle rope leg drop by Doring. (**. The Baldies surprised me with some of the moves they whipped out for this, which was a pleasant surprise. There weren’t any slow parts of the match and it swiftly went by.)

Sixth Contest: Raven vs. CW Anderson: CW decks Raven with a left hand to drop Raven in the corner. Anderson backs Raven in the corner and delivers another left punch. Raven ducks a punch and hammers away on CW in the corner. Raven kicks on CW’s leg and slams CW down by his legs. Anderson super kicks Raven after a distraction but only gets a two count. Anderson continues to hammer away on Raven in the corner. Raven gets dumped to the floor where Raven gets attacked by the Dangerous Alliance. CW bulldogs Raven onto the chair and nearly wins the match. Anderson sits down in the chair and wonders what he has to do to beat Raven. Anderson slams Raven face first into the chair. Raven counters a bulldog and atomic drops CW onto the chair. CW regains control working over Raven in the corner with stomps but misses a splash. Raven clotheslines CW in the corner followed by a knee lift. Raven gets the snot rag and puts it in Lou E. Dangerously’s face. Raven plants CW with a DDT but Electra gets involved leading to Francine having a fight with her. Francine hit a bronco buster on Electra. Raven ducks a powder shot and CW is met with another DDT to give Raven the victory. (**. Not too bad of a match though the finish didn’t seem to be needed. That’s a lot of work to essentially protect Anderson when he was just a low mid card guy at the time.)

Seventh Contest: ECW Tag Team Champions Justin Credible & Lance Storm vs. Chris Chetti & Nova: Chetti and Credible start the title match with Credible stalling on the floor jawing with fans. Credible decides to leave with Storm because of the fans. Guess what, the referee has some stroke and threatens to strip them of the belts if they don’t come back to the ring. They return and they trade right hands with the challengers. Storm and Credible bail to the floor to regroup. Credible slaps Chetti in the corner and taunts the fans. Credible elbows Chetti but gets met with chops. Chetti drops Credible with a scissors kick and tags in Nova. Credible is hip tossed and double teamed with a senton and elbow drop for a two count. Credible stops Nova with a jaw breaker. Storm tags in and hammers away on Nova with right hands. Nova bulldogs Storm and stomps on Lance in the corner. Nova boots Storm but Storm comes back with a running heel kick to prevent Nova from hitting a reverse DDT on Credible. Storm dropkicks Nova for a two count. Credible works over Nova with several strikes. Storm tags back in and casually works over Nova. Nova comes off the ropes with a cross body for a two count. Storm forearms Nova but only gets a two count. Storm keeps Nova on the canvas with a headlock for a few moments. Storm clotheslines Nova and tags in Credible. Credible plants Jazz with That’s Incredible. Chetti spin kicks Credible but Storm clotheslines Chetti. Nova plants Storm with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Nova rolls through a rollup and Credible whacks Nova with a kendo stick allowing Storm to get the win. (**1/2. The final sequence was fun and there was plenty of crowd energy probably due to the pre-match antics. I thought the teams worked well together and am surprised they didn’t have a significant program in ’00, really.)

Eighth Contest: ECW World Champion Mike Awesome vs. Kid Kash: Kash quickly goes to work but is stopped b y shoulder block and an overhead belly to belly suplex. Awesome splashes Kash and hit a big splash. Awesome sends Kash to the floor with Judge Jeff Jones gets some cheap shots in. Awesome sends Kash into the guard railing and gets a chair kicked into his face. Kash takes Awesome out with a springboard cross body to the floor. Kash runs into a shoulder block in the corner. Awesome slams Kash and delivered a leg drop. Kash hits a double springboard cross body but Awesome gets up quickly to clothesline Kash. Kash sends Jones into the guard railing. Kash hit a top rope hurricanrana but Awesome counters another hurricanrana with a sit out power bomb. Awesome is given a table and sets it up in the ring. Awesome manages to power bomb Kash through the table and after a minute of taunting pins Kash. (**1/2. An enjoyable match for what it was, which was basically give Kash a few moments but still make Awesome look like a monster.)

Joel Gertner comes out and so does Steve Corino for a promo segment. Corino doesn’t like that Gertner is trying to steal his spotlight in the main event. Gertner doesn’t put up a fight and backs away. Tommy Dreamer comes out and attacks Corino leading to the bell, but this isn’t the main event. Ah, here comes Tajiri.

Main Event: Tajiri vs. Tommy Dreamer: Tajiri kicks Dreamer from behind and to the head. This is a death match, apparently Tajiri tosses Dreamer across the ring with a bull rope around his neck. Tajiri locks in the tarantula but lets go fairly quickly. Dreamer counters a handspring elbow with a side Russian leg sweep. Dreamer tosses Tajiri to the floor where they brawl for a few moments. They go into the crowd since now falls count anywhere, according to Dreamer. Dreamer uses a ring bell on Tajiri, but the cameraman was still in the crowd and hustled back to ringside to catch the action. Tajiri spin kicks the chair into Dreamer’s groin. Tajiri kicks the chair into Dreamer’s head. Tajiri works over Dreamer in the corner but Dreamer wants more. Tajiri rams a chair into Dreamer who was placed in the tree of woe. Tajiri puts the chair in front of Dreamer’s face but missed a baseball slide dropkick. Dreamer puts Tajiri in the tree of woe and steps on Tajiri’s groin. Dreamer dropkicks the chair into Tajiri’s face! Dreamer drags Corino into the ring and punches Corino on the groin. Dreamer puts Corino on the top turnbuckle and hits him with the cowbell. Dreamer gets a table brought into the ring. Tajiri tries to help but is met with a cowbell to the head as well. Tajiri mists Dreamer and puts him on the table. Tajiri goes to the top and double stomps Dreamer through the table for a near fall. Corino comes off the top and hit Tajiri with a cowbell. Dreamer hits both Corino and Tajiri with a DDT for the win. (**1/4. A fine match that basically just brawling and the involvement of Corino was okay, too.) After the match, Jack Victory and Rhino enter to attack Dreamer. Sandman makes the save with kendo stick shots. Sandman has made a career of just being a post-match saving guy.

Final Thoughts:
As usual with ECW house shows there isn’t anything incredible but for the most part everything was average. These are usually not shows you need to see unless you’re a big ECW fan, or like viewing house shows, like I do.
