2.) Don Muraco & Bob Orton Jr. defeated Sivi Afi & Billy Jack Haynes
3.) King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd defeated Dick Slater & Ricky Hunter
4.) Jacques & Raymond Rougeau defeated Hercules & Barry O
5.) The Islanders & Pedro Morales defeated Ken Glover, Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart
6.) Junkyard Dog & George Steele defeated Steve Regal & Terry Gibbs

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Backstage, the WWF Tag Team Champions the British Bulldogs were interviewed by Jesse Ventura. They are sitting down as they have a new mascot. The mascot is a bulldog named Matilda. Ventura insults the Bulldogs and the dog before sending it over to the ring. He mostly insulted English women comparing them to the dog.

2.) Beefcake and Valentine attack the champs before the bell to get the cheap advantage. Kid avoids Valentine in the corner and delivers a few shots until Beefcake held him and allowed Valentine to deliver a shot. Smith decks Valentine and Kid comes back with a backdrop. Kid takes Valentine down with a snap suplex to a good pop. Valentine is sent face first into Smith’s boot and Smith controls the left arm. Valentine clotheslines Smith and Beefcake enters to a get a near fall. Beefcake takes Smith down with a vertical suplex, but Smith recovers first to tag in Kid and they head butt Beefcake. Beefcake backdrops Kid and Valentine tags in to hit a backbreaker. Valentine heads to the top rope but is slammed off by Kid. Beefcake drives Kid down with another backbreaker but Kid refuses to stay down. Valentine comes off the top with a forearm shot and goes for a figure four but is kicked away. Beefcake scoop slams Kid but misses an elbow drop. Smith tags in and press slams Beefcake! Smith dropkicks Valentine into the corner and plants Beefcake with a vertical suplex for a near fall. Valentine comes off the top to club Smith as the referee was knocked down. Valentine has the cover but the referee stops. Kid was sent into the guard railing on the floor. Valentine and Beefcake connect with a double suplex on Smith and the referee calls for the bell since Valentine was the illegal man. (**. I thought this was actually a solid TV match. The finish was rather dull, but the action leading into it was pretty good and kept my interest. The Bulldogs are really, really good.)

3.) WWF Update hosted by Mean Gene focuses on Jake Roberts. Roberts is taking a shower with his pet snake. Roberts talks about fear and how people don’t back away from fear. He knows he’s a little different. He’ll do whatever it takes.

4.) Don Muraco and Bob Orton Jr. come out to Roddy Piper’s theme music and are wearing kilts to taunt him. This is similar to what Orndorff has been doing. I don’t think they should do it twice. We hear comments from them and they brag about taking out Piper, which was easy for them.

5.) The Machines share some comments during Bundy and Studd’s match. They have a new factory in the US to bring more Machines. They are here to stay.

6.) Danny Davis shared his thoughts on being a fair referee during the Rougeau match. He says he doesn’t favor anyone in the ring and he doesn’t care if nobody likes how he does his job.

7.) We see footage of a new Piper’s Pit being constructed.

8.) At the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event, Roddy Piper whacked Adrian Adonis with a crutch to get some level of revenge. Piper shared his thoughts on what happened. He admits that it hurt but says not having one leg is going to stop him. Piper sees Muraco and Orton mocking him. Piper is fired up to get his hands on Muraco, Orton and Adonis.

9.) Jimmy Hart shared his thoughts during the Hart Foundation’s six man tag match. He says the team is the best team in wrestling. All they need is a chance at the tag team titles and promises they will win the gold. Their partner Glover gets pinned and the Hart Foundation turn on him afterward.

10.) Jesse Ventura interviewed Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff and Slick. They were in a limo making their way to the venue. Slick promised them a lot of money and fame. Ventura greeted them out of the car. Slick says they are going to become the richest wrestlers in the WWF. Ventura thinks they could be the next tag team champions.

11.) Butch Reed shared his thoughts during the main event. Reed says he isn’t going to take any prisoners and he’s coming for Junkyard Dog.

Final Thoughts:
This was a strong episode for Superstars with a good feature match and they touched upon most of the major feuds and introduced new directions for wrestlers. This was a very productive episode.

Thanks for reading.
