World Wrestling All-Stars lands in New Zealand for the month of May, hot off the heels of The Eruption! How will the new WWA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas, fare against rival Sting and any other challengers that may appear? What will become of the new-found friendship between WWA World Hardcore Champion, Devon Storm, and Gangrel? How will the former WWA World Tag Team Champions, Brian Adams & Bryan Clark, look to exact their revenge on Crown Jewels? All that will be answered and more!

  • Commissioner Bret Hart made his way to the ring to welcome fans to the show. He said that, unfortunately, Sting wouldn’t be here tonight… but a friend of his had some business he was looking to settle here in Auckland tonight! Curt Hennig entered and met Bret in the ring. Hennig promised the crowd that this version of himself was the best one yet, and that this version had a lot of fire left in the tank. To prove it, he asked Bret to make his next challenge official. The commissioner agreed and announced that Hennig’s challenge tonight would be one-half of the WWA World Tag Team Champions, Buff Bagwell! That match was announced as tonight’s main event!
  1. Kid Kash fought Brian Christopher to a draw, due to time expiration.
    • After the match, Kid Kash grabbed a house mic and said that he respected everything about his opponent, except his big mouth! So, seeing as neither of them got what they wanted tonight, he asked Brian Christopher to do it all over again, two nights from now, in New Plymouth. Christopher agreed, slapped Kash hard across the face, and cowardly ran up the ramp laughing.
  2. AJ Styles defeated Shark Boy in a singles match, following a Spiral Tap.
  3. Devon Storm w/ Daffney defeated L.A. Park in a hardcore singles match to retain the WWA World Hardcore Championship, following a Mindbender through an opened folding chair.
    • After the match, Mexico’s Most Wanted (Damián 666 & Halloween) attacked Devon Storm.
  4. Brian Adams w/ Bryan Clark defeated Simon Diamond w/ Mike Sanders & Dawn Marie in a singles match, following a Chokeslam.
    • During the match, Dawn Marie jumped to the apron, but Bryan Clark pulled her down immediately and kept her in line. Brian Adams was briefly distracted by the interaction at ringside, but was able to power through the ringside chaos and pick up the win.
  5. “The Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeated Lex Luger in a singles match to retain the WWA World Heavyweight Championship, following a Pittsburg Plunge.
  6. Curt Hennig defeated Buff Bagwell w/ Johnny Swinger in a singles match, following a Hennig Plex.
    • During the match, Disco Inferno tried to interfere and cost Hennig the match, however, he was dropped on the apron with a punch from Hennig.
  • Curt Hennig grabbed a microphone from ringside and said that while his friend Sting may not be in New Zealand tonight, he promised to help fill that gap and fight his way to “The Franchise” and the stolen WWA World Heavyweight Championship! Hennig said he was taking this final leg of his career seriously and told Douglas not to ever count him out! He also wished Disco Inferno a speedy recovery, saying he was sure that he broke Disco’s jaw with that punch he gave him during the main event…

  • “The Franchise” Shane Douglas made his way to the ring with Francine on his arm to open tonight’s show. Douglas said that he wasn’t worried one bit about Curt Hennig, because in his mind, Hennig was nothing more than a washed up hack from a bygone era. Douglas said how he was sweeping out the locker room and started with Sting, because it was out with the old and in with the new! Suddenly, AJ Styles entered and asked Douglas to put his money where his mouth was. If it really was ‘in with the new’, Douglas should give a hungry, young talent like him a shot at the WWA World Heavyweight Championship tonight! Douglas laughed Styles off, but condescendingly agreed.
  1. L.A. Park defeated Gangrel w/ Luna Vachon in a hardcore singles match, following a plancha from the ring to the floor on the outside.
    • After the match, Luna Vachon tried to get revenge on Gangrel’s behalf, but received a piledriver from L.A. Park for her troubles instead. Danny Dominion ran down to the ring to help but was too late, the damage had been done and L.A. Park had already escaped through the crowd.
  2. Kid Kash defeated Brian Christopher in a singles match, following a Money Maker piledriver.
    • After the match, Kid Kash stood over Brian Christopher to celebrate his victory.
  3. Simon Diamond & Dawn Marie w/ Mike Sanders defeated Brian Adams w/ Bryan Clark in a handicap match, following a low blow from Dawn Marie.
    • After the match, Dawn Marie and Crown Jewels were run off by Bryan Clark.
  4. Road Dogg w/ Rick Steiner defeated Buff Bagwell w/ Johnny Swinger in a singles match, following a Pumphandle Drop.
    • After the match, Buff Bagwell threw a temper tantrum and threatened to plant the referee with a Blockbuster, but Road Dogg was able to stop him.
  5. Curt Hennig defeated Nova in a singles match, following a Hennig Plex.
    • After the match, Douglas painted Steiner’s face white with some black lines to mock Sting before hitting another Pittsburgh Plunge on him to add insult to injury.
  6. “The Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeated AJ Styles in a singles match to retain the WWA World Heavyweight Championship, following a Pittsburgh Plunge.
  • Curt Hennig made his way to the ring to give his kudos to AJ Styles. Hennig and Shane Douglas then went nose-to-nose and the tension rose. After a few seconds, Shane Douglas laughed Hennig off and exited the ring with Francine and his championship.

  • Johnny Swinger and Buff Bagwell entered and made their way to the ring to open the show. Swinger said that he had a bone to pick with Curt Hennig! Hennig has done nothing but act like a big shot since stepping foot in WWA and the real stars of the promotion, Euphoria, was sick of it! So, on behalf of the best tag team in the world, Swinger was going to put Hennig away permanently… Swinger said that he was not only going to beat him tonight, but he’s going to send him back to whatever nursing home he broke out of back in Minnesota!
  1. Brian Christopher defeated Kid Kash in a singles match, following a Tennessee Jam
    • Brian Christopher grabbed a house mic to declare himself the number one contender for the WWA World Cruiserweight Championship. He then proceeded to disregard Kash completely and called out Eddy Guerrero, demanding a match for the title in Christchurch two nights from now!
  2. The Night Pact (Gangrel & Danny Dominion) w/ Luna Vachon defeated Mexico’s Most Wanted (Damián 666 & Halloween), following an Impaler DDT on Halloween.
    • Toward the end of the match, Luna Vachon laid L.A. Park out with a chair when he ran down to ringside, preventing him from getting involved in the match and getting her revenge for the piledriver she received.
  3. Radiation (Bryan Clark & Brian Adams) defeated The West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane & Lodi) w/ Allan Funk in a tag team match, following a Double Chokeslam on Lenny Lane.
  4. AJ Styles defeated Nova in a singles match, following a Styles Clash.
  5. “The Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeated Rick Steiner w/ Road Dogg in a singles match, following a Pittsburg Plunge.
  6. Curt Hennig defeated Johnny Swinger w/ Buff Bagwell in a singles match, following a Hennig Plex.
    • During the match, Shane Douglas ran down to the ring, slid in, and immediately ate a dropkick for his troubles. Douglas rolled out to ringside and headed up the ramp, frustrated with not being able to sway the match against Hennig.
  • Curt Hennig celebrated and thanked the crowd for making it out to tonight’s show on the house mic. Before leaving the ring, he promised to do his best and give Shane Douglas exactly what he had coming to him before WWA left New Zealand… a perfect ass-kicking!

  • Radiation (Bryan Clark & Brian Adams) came to the ring with microphones to open tonight’s show. Brian Adams explained that after what Dawn Marie pulled at THE ERUPTION on pay-per-view, he should’ve expected a jezebel like her to stick her plastic-filled chest in where it didn’t belong! She made her point clear and Adams was looking to make his point clear when he and Bryan Clark regain the WWA World Tag Team Championship! Clark echoed the statements, saying the he wouldn’t allow Crown Jewels to parade themselves around as champions and proud men, because their woman seems to fight all their battles for them! Clark promised that THE ASCENSION pay-per-view will see the re-crowning of the real world champions!
  1. Gangrel w/ Luna Vachon defeated Halloween w/ Damián 666 in a hardcore singles match, following an Impaler DDT.
  2. Eddy Guerrero defeated Kid Kash & Brian Christopher in a triple threat to retain the WWA World Cruiserweight Championship, following a Frog Splash on Brian Christopher.
    • After his win, Eddy Guerrero grabbed a house mic and said that with Christopher no longer the number one contender due to this loss, it was back to Kid Kash. Technically, Eddy admitted to the fact that he hadn’t pinned Kash yet. So, he was willing to give him a shot at the championship tomorrow night in Dunedin, out of the ‘kindness of his heart’. Kid Kash shook Eddy’s hand and thanked him for the opportunity. Eddy nodded and abruptly decked Kash with the championship!
  3. AJ Styles defeated Low Ki in a singles match, following a Styles Clash.
  4. Bryan Clark w/ Brian Adams defeated Mike Sanders w/ Simon Diamond & Dawn Marie in a singles match, following a Meltdown.
    • During the match, Dawn Marie slapped Bryan Clark and he promptly military pressed her out of the ring down onto Simon Diamond at ringside.
  5. Curt Hennig defeated Ernest Miller in a singles match, following a Hennig Plex.
  6. “The Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeated Devon Storm w/ Daffney in a hardcore singles match to retain the WWA World Heavyweight Championship, following a Pittsburgh Plunge onto a chair.
  • “The Franchise” Shane Douglas got on a house mic to boast about how not even fellow champions were a match for him in WWA. He said that Curt Hennig could promise all he wanted, but it was going to take a lot more than he had left in his tank to take away The Franchise’s WWA World Heavyweight Championship! Douglas said that if Hennig didn’t believe him, he could just ask Devon Storm!

  • Backstage, Johnny Swinger & Buff Bagwell were arguing with Commissioner Bret Hart on who out of the two of them, deserved another shot at Curt Hennig. As both pleaded their case, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas and Francine stepped into frame. He was able to calm Euphoria down by saying that there may have been another way to make all three of them happy tonight… a six-man tag team match! Bret agreed and said that if they were willing to team up tonight, he’d get with Curt Hennig to help find partners for the night to make the match.
  1. Damián 666 w/ Halloween defeated Danny Dominion w/ Gangrel in a hardcore singles match, following La Valagueza.
  2. AJ Styles defeated Brian Christopher in a singles match, following a Spiral Tap.
  3. Kid Kash defeated Eddy Guerrero in a singles match for the WWA World Cruiserweight Championship, via disqualification due to interference.
    • Toward the tail-end of the match, when it looked as though Eddy was beaten, Psicosis and Low Ki ran down to cause a blatant disqualification to save Eddy from losing his championship. Juventud Guerrera and Super Crazy ran down to the ring after the fact to check on Kid Kash.
  4. Ernest Miller defeated Brian Adams in a singles match, following outside interference.
    • During the match, Dawn Marie came out from under the ring and held Brian Adams’ foot down at the apron to allow him to be pinned by Ernest Miller. Without the official’s knowledge, Ernest Miller was awarded the match.
  5. Lex Luger defeated Jeff Jarrett in a singles match, following a Torture Rack.
  6. Curt Hennig & The Dogg Pound (Road Dogg & Rick Steiner) defeated “The Franchise” Shane Douglas & Euphoria (Buff Bagwell & Johnny Swinger) in a six-man tag team match, following a Hennig Plex on Buff Bagwell.
  • Curt Hennig grabbed a microphone from ringside and told Shane Douglas that if he had the guts, he’d put the WWA World Heavyweight Championship up for grabs two nights from now in Wellington. Hennig said he was looking to head into WWA’s June European tour with gold around his waist!

  • “The Franchise” Shane Douglas and Francine made their way to the ring to open up the show. After parading his championship around the ring, Shane Douglas grabbed a microphone from ringside and said that if Curt Hennig really wanted a shot at his WWA World Heavyweight Championship tonight, he’s got it. He’s sick of hearing about the what-ifs and decided that Hennig would be the PERFECT tune-up for Douglas before his run across Europe next month. After Douglas puts Hennig’s revival down, it’ll be onto the next casualty!
  1. AJ Styles defeated Reno in a singles match, following a Spiral Tap.
  2. Psicosis & Low Ki w/ Eddy Guerrero defeated Super Crazy & Juventud Guerrera w/ Kid Kash in a tag team match, following a diving leg drop on Super Crazy.
  3. Road Dogg w/ Rick Steiner defeated Lenny Lane w/ Lodi & Allan Funk in a singles match, following a Pumphandle Drop.
  4. L.A. Park & Mexico’s Most Wanted (Damián 666 & Halloween) defeated Jerry Lynn & Team 2K (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) in a six-man tag team hardcore match, following Montezuma’s Revenge on Jerry Lynn.
  5. Radiation (Bryan Clark & Brian Adams) defeated Euphoria (Buff Bagwell & Johnny Swinger) in a tag team match, following a Double Chokeslam.
    • Toward the end of the match, a botched interference attempt occurred when Crown Jewels mis-timed an attack and ended up costing Euphoria the match. The two heel teams argued as Radiation celebrated and headed up the ramp.
  6. “The Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeated Curt Hennig w/ Bret Hart in a singles match to retain the WWA World Heavyweight Championship, following a Pittsburgh Plunge.
  • After his win, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas threw Curt Hennig out of the ring and celebrated with Francine. Bret Hart grabbed a mic and told Shane Douglas not to pop any bottles just yet, because WWA’s newest signing would officially be joining the team on their European tour next month. Bret claimed that this man was an old friend of Douglas’ and actually wanted to be on-hand to see him tonight! Suddenly, “No Gimmicks Needed” Chris Candido entered the arena and pointed down to Douglas in the ring who was absolutely LIVID and beside himself!

    1. Thanks so much for reading thus far! I chose to rebook WWA, because I could basically use it as a blank canvas with the spot shows leading into PPVs. Messing with the roster, mixing in free agents from the time has been fun!
