Matches:
1.) The Smoking Gunns defeated Bob Cook & Mike Khoury
2.) Jean Pierre Laffiette defeated John Crystal
3.) Man Mountain Rock defeated Bill Payne
4.) Mantaur defeated Gary Scott
5.) Razor Ramon defeated Jacob Blu in a 1995 King of the Ring Tournament Qualifier
Angle Developments/Notes:
1. A vignette promoting the debut of Skip and Sunny making fun of fat people is aired. They demand people to show them respect because they deserve it.
2. A video highlighting Shawn Michaels is also aired. It just shows various clips throughout his singles run up to this point.
3. The match between Blu and Ramon is joined in progress with Blu working over Ramon sending the Bad Guy into the corner. Razor walks into a big boot. Ramon battles back with a series of right hands and a clothesline in the corner. Blu shows off his power by easily pushing Ramon over the top to the floor. Razor works over the left shoulder for a few moments. Blu cuts Razor off with a short arm clothesline as we head to commercial. Blu rams Ramon back first into the corner and has Ramon in the tree of woe for a brief time delivering boots. Ramon hits a cross body but can’t maintain control of the match. Razor gets his boots up in the corner and leaps off the middle rope to hit a bulldog for a near fall. Eli hits Ramon from the apron while Zeb distracted the referee. Savio Vega runs out and attacks the heels on the floor. Ramon rolls up Jacob and gets the win to advance in the tournament. (1/2*. A rather boring match as Jacob didn’t have an entertaining way of controlling Ramon. An obvious outcome here with some poor action.)
Final Thoughts:
Yeah, a boring show here with nothing going on. There was a few segments recapping what happened on RAW to further the Diesel/Sid feud and Bigelow as a face, but the show is rather bland this week.
