World Wrestling Federation presents RAW
Date: 11/27/1995
From: Richmond, VA
Matches:
1.) Ahmed Johnson defeated Rad Radford
2.) Tomoko Wannabe & Aja Kong defeated WWF Women’s Campion Alundra Blayze & Kyoko Inoue
3.) Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated John Crystal
4.) The Undertaker defeated Sir Mo
Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) This would be the final WWF appearance for Alundra Blayze. She would end up in WCW where she dropped the championship in a trash bin.
2.) We take a trip down memory lane as Brother Love is back to conduct an interview with the WWF World Champion, Bret Hart. Love thinks that people should be calling the Hitman a marked man because that’s exactly what he is. Love asks if the match with Diesel was the toughest of his career. Love doesn’t allow Hart to answer the question and continues to mention guys coming for the belt, such as The Undertaker. Love asks if Hart is afraid of the Undertaker, and again doesn’t allow an answer. Love says that Bret has made his mother cry for years now. Love hypes the match between Hart and Bulldog taking place next month at the In Your House pay per view. Hart grabs Love by the arm to talk. Hart says that in order to achieve great things, you need to live like you’re never going to die. Hart says that Diesel is cheap and he always has been cheap. Hart suggests it would be a different story next time they meet in the ring. Hart will talk about the Undertaker when the time comes. Hart says the loss to British Bulldog at SummerSlam 1992 has been on his mind for a long time. However, at IYH what comes around, goes around. Hart is going to prove that he is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Bob Backlund comes from behind and puts the Crossface chicken wing on the Hitman! Love taunts Hart as Backlund has the hold locked in!
3.) A video of Henry Godwin introducing HHH to some of his pigs. They are having a Hog Pen match at the next In Your Match.
4.) Well, the main event was supposed to be Undertaker taking on Kama, but Kama is claiming to have a leg injury. Thus, Sir Mo is inserted as the replacement. Easily one of the weakest main events in RAW history.
5.) Taker starts the main event working over Mo delivering a scoop slam. Ted DiBiase distracts Taker to allow Mo to clothesline Taker over the top to the floor. Taker grabs DiBiase but is attacked by Kama, who isn’t hurt at all. Mo heads to the outside and works over Taker with several blows. Back from commercial, Mo works over Taker but his offense isn’t working all that well. Taker drops Mo with a big boot after sending him into the corner. Taker hits a leaping clothesline and goes to the floor to attack Kama and sends him face first into the ring steps. Taker comes back into the ring to scoop slam Mo. Taker plants Mo with a choke slam, who proceeds to over sell the move and Taker gets the three count. (DUD. That was an obvious outcome and basically an extended squash match.) After the match, King Mabel comes out and tries to grab the gold chain that was once the urn, but Taker grabs it first. Yokozuna comes in from behind to confront Taker. Taker hands the gold chain off to Paul Bearer. Taker focuses on Yoko as King Mabel attacks Bearer on the floor! Mabel grabs the chain and runs to the backstage area with Taker giving chase.
Final Thoughts:
Aside from the Bret Hart interview segment, this one sucked big time. The action was pretty bad. I don’t even want to write anymore about it.
Thanks for reading.
