1.) ECW World Tag Team Champions Public Enemy defeated The Pitbulls in a double dog collar match to retain the titles

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) In four days, on June 17th, ECW World Champion The Sandman defends against Cactus Jack in a barbed wire match at the ECW Arena.

2.) Cactus Jack cuts a promo about his upcoming match with Sandman. Jack says this Saturday night the ropes go down and the barbed wire goes all around. They will explore a dark side of his personality. Jack says there is a side of him that lusts for blood that he can’t deny any longer. Jack has some barbed wire and is looking at it with passion as he continues to talk about surviving in the match. Jack says he doesn’t need sixteen beers to step into the ring. Jack wants to know how badly Sandman wants to remain champion and how much he wants to remain on this Earth.

3.) The double dog collar match was also part of the Enter Sandman event that took place on May 13th, so you can check out the match review, once again, at the Enter Sandman review that is already provided on the blog.

Final Thoughts:
The main negative for Hardcore TV, which wouldn’t change for a few years, is that their just giving us matches from the super card event. The Cactus promo was good and was effective in hyping up his match with Sandman in four days. I’d much rather have a show full of original content, though.
