From: Philadelphia, PA

Matches:
There weren’t any complete matches shown.

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) The show starts with highlights of Public Enemy winning the ECW World Tag Team Championships in a three way dance against Raven & Stevie Richards and the Pitbulls.

2.) Stevie Richards is interviewed about Johnny Grunge setting a fire under his butt and he wants to get revenge on Grunge. Richards says he and Grunge will be having a loser must wear a dress match. We hear from Grunge who says that he will treat Richards like the boy he had when he was locked up. Essentially, Grunge is admitting to raping a boy in prison. Anyway, Jason comes into the picture and offers to wear the dress for Richards, who agrees to that.

3.) Prior to the Whipwreck/Sandman match, Steve Austin comes out and insults Sandman for being a poor excuse of a heavyweight champion. Austin says he has six weeks before he can take the belt from Sandman. Sandman doesn’t seem to care about that as he proceeds to whack Austin with the cane and calls Austin a Hogan wannabe. They brawl for a short time until the locker room empties. Konnan is a focus of that pull apart for whatever reason.

4.) ECW World Champion the Sandman says he is the king of extreme and he is going to get very extreme on October 28th. Woman makes it evident she is obsessed with the championship and they are going to own Mikey Whipwreck on October 28th.

5.) Tommy Dreamer says he fears no evil and that he is going to get so hardcore that even Terry Funk will be appalled by it.

6.) Cactus Jack says that he will not be prevented from achieving his righteousness. He loves Dreamer enough for the both of them because Dreamer has no love for himself. He notes that Funk makes him the kind of man he doesn’t want to be anymore.

7.) Tommy Dreamer yells that he is going to bring the hardcore back out of Cactus Jack.

Final Thoughts:
I’m sold on seeing Dreamer/Cactus, which I hope is on television. I don’t understand the dress match, but whatever. This was just a hype show for the big event.
