Rebooking WWA: The Inception PPV

After a heavy week of action in Australia, World Wrestling All-Stars presents its very first pay-per-view event, WWA: The Inception! Inside the Sydney SuperDome, champions will be crowned, lines will be crossed, and the start of WWA’s next phase will begin LIVE! Plus, catch the follow-up live event in Melbourne.

  • Commissioner Bret Hart marches to the ring and waves to the fans. He welcomes us to THE INCEPTION of World Wrestling All-Stars and declares that, tonight, there will be several champions crowned, but only ONE WWA World Heavyweight Champion. The main event for that coveted championship will be Sting against long-time rival, Scott Steiner! He thanks Australia for being so welcoming to him and this new promotion and he closes with promising a great show.
  • The commentary team for WWA moving forward is revealed as Jeremy Borash, Mark Madden, and “The Franchise” Shane Douglas! Jeremy leads the team and speaks a bit about the rest of the championship titles to be determined tonight.
  1. Psicosis defeated Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, Christopher Daniels, & Low Ki in a six-man match to win the WWA World Cruiserweight Championship, following a Diving Leg Drop on Jerry Lynn.
    • After the match, Juventud Guerrera made his way to the ring. He challenged Psicosis for the WWA World Cruiserweight Championship by pointing to the belt and offering his hand to Psicosis for a shake. Psicosis took Juvi’s hand and placed a kick right into his midsection. Psicosis spit on a doubled-over Juvi on his way out of the ring!
  2. Bryan Clark defeated Nova in a singles match, following a Meltdown.
    • After the match, Clark was interviewed by Jeremy Borash at ringside. Borash asked Clark what his plans were here in World Wrestling All-Stars, to which Clark said he plans on laying nuclear waste to anybody who stands between him and the WWA World Heavyweight Championship. He tells Borash and the live crowd that whoever wins the championship tonight, is officially on bomb watch!
  3. Rick Steiner defeated Brian Adams in a singles match, following a second-rope bulldog.
  4. The Night Pact (Gangrel & Danny Dominion) defeated The West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane & Lodi) in a tag team match to win the WWA World Tag Team Championship, following an Impaler DDT to Lodi.
    • After the match, Lenny Lane attempted to land a cheap shot on Danny Dominion from behind. Instead he was caught by Gangrel and spiked with an Impaler DDT, sending him to the mat right next to Lodi.
  5. Saturn defeated Disco Inferno in a singles match, following The Rings of Saturn submission hold.
  6. Norman Smiley defeated The Funkster, Ernest Miller, & The Navajo Warrior in a fatal four-way match, following a Smiley Slam on The Navajo Warrior.
  7. Sabu defeated Konnan in a hardcore singles match to win the WWA World Hardcore Championship, following a Camel Clutch on top of the announce desk.
  8. Buff Bagwell w/ Johnny Swinger defeated Lex Luger in a singles match, following The Blockbuster.
  9. Jeff Jarrett defeated Road Dogg in a singles match, following The Stroke.
    • After the match, Road Dogg was able to avoid a guitar shot and instead, took it and smashed it over Jarrett’s head!
  10. Scott Steiner defeated Sting in a singles match to win the WWA World Heavyweight Championship, following the Steiner Recliner submission hold.
  • After the match, Commissioner Hart came down to ringside to congratulate the inaugural WWA World Heavyweight Champion. Paying Bret Hart no mind, Scott Steiner continued holding Sting in the submission that won him the match. After officials failed to pull Steiner away, Bret Hart stepped in to help. The hold was finally released and Steiner snatched his belt and held it up for himself. While Steiner gloated, Bret could be heard calling for medical help for Sting as the show came to a close.

  • Commissioner Bret Hart announced that tonight, due to the actions of Scott Steiner at the pay-per-view last night in Sydney, neither he or Sting will be in action. Steiner is has been placed on a temporary suspension and Sting is still being looked over by a medical facility in Sydney. Bret Hart apologized to the fans on behalf of the WWA World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Steiner.
  1. Psicosis defeated Juventud Guerrera in a singles match, following a roll up.
  2. The Night Pact (Gangrel & Danny Dominion) defeated The West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane & Lodi) in a tag team match to retain the WWA World Tag Team Championship, following a Crucifix Powerbomb on Lodi.
  3. Bryan Clark defeated Tony Mamaluke in a singles match, following a Meltdown.
  4. Road Dogg defeated Jeff Jarrett in a singles match, following a disqualification.
    • The referee called for the bell after Road Dogg was blatantly hit with a guitar.
  5. Sabu defeated Norman Smiley in a hardcore singles match to retain the WWA World Hardcore Championship, following a Camel Clutch submission hold.
  6. Rick Steiner defeated Buff Bagwell w/Johnny Swinger in a singles match, following a second-rope bulldog.
    • After the match, Johnny Swinger slid into the ring to attack Rick Steiner. While he was able to jump him from behind, Buff Bagwell was able to recover and join in on the beatdown.
  • Commissioner Bret Hart again appeared and thanked all the Australian fans coast-to-coast for their support of the WWA for its first tour. Bret then announced that next month, WWA will be travelling to Europe and the UK for some awesome shows! He asked the fans to keep up-to-date with the promotion via their website online, until they return home to Australia, which he promised would be very soon!
