- Commissioner Bret Hart stood in the ring at a podium with WWA owner Andrew McManus, and Jeremy Borash. Bret then got a few minutes to speak and thank those close to him, including his father, mother, and his late brother Owen Hart. Hart then took his moment to formally nominate Curt Hennig as the next inductee for the WWA Hall of Fame. McManus thanked Bret and announced that Curt Hennig would be inducted by Bret Hart in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 24th, 2002 when WWA presents its next pay-per-view, THE REVOLUTION!
- Jeremy Borash and Mark Madden covered a few of the announced matches tonight, using live event footage to help recap some of the major angles. Shane Douglas confirmed that only time would tell and discussed the severity of a torn abdomen.

He spoke without being seen, “Tonight, it will be known as the end of Sabu’s reign as the most hardcore man in professional wrestling. Tonight, it’s all about Saturn, but what about me? What about Raven? World Wrestling All-Stars will find out soon…”
- Native Blood (The Navajo Warrior & Ghostwalker) defeated The West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane & Lodi) in a tag team match, following a Tomahawk Chop on Lodi.
