World Wrestling Federation presents Superstars
Date: 8/14/1993
From: Utica, NY
Matches:
1.)Razor Ramon defeated Duane Gill

3.)WWF World Tag Team Champions the Steiner Brothers defeated Glen Ruth & Mike Bell
4.)WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Darren Trujillo
5.)Tatanka defeated Fred Williams
6.)The Heavenly Bodies defeated Bert Centeno & Rich Meyers
Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Ted DiBiase shared some comments during Ramon’s squash match. DiBiase tells us that Ramon will pay the price at SummerSlam.
2. Gorilla Monsoon hosts the WWF Update segment. He highlights what happened on RAW as Jim Cornette is now a spokesman for Yokozuna. We get a refresher of the contract signing on RAW between Luger and Yoko.
3. The Heavenly Bodies shared some comments during the Steiner Brothers match. Cornette puts over his guys as the best tag team in the business.
4. Mr. Perfect chimed in with some comments during Michaels squash match. Perfect believes it will be a great match but he knows that Michaels can’t beat perfection.
5. The Steiner Brothers talk about the Heavenly Bodies during their match. They don’t respect them, basically.
Final Thoughts:
A boring episode of Superstars this week. As we get closer to the show it’s basically just the men involved in the event cutting brief promos to keep interest in the feuds. No featured match and there wasn’t a main interview segment. Thus, this gets a thumbs down from me.
Thanks for reading.
