Main Event: Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart in a no holds barred match:
Owen attacks Bret before the opening bell by stomping away on his brother. Bret sends Owen hard back first into a corner and hammers away on Owen with a flurry of right hands. Bret slams Owen to the mat by grabbing Owen by the hair. Bret whiplashes Owen off the top rope after choking Owen over the top rope and plants Owen with a DDT. Bret sends Owen over the top to the floor where Bret rams Owen into the guard railing and tosses Owen shoulder first into the ring steps. Bret brawls with Owen to the backstage area, but they quickly return to the aisle way where Bret scoop slams Owen on the floor! Back in the ring, Bret mounts Owen delivering punches. Bret head butts Owen in the lower midsection area. Owen blocks a back breaker by raking Bret’s eyes and stomps away on Bret. Owen rakes Bret’s eyes across the top rope and head butts Bret in the midsection. Owen kicks Bret in the side of the head but only manages to get a two count. Owen tosses Bret to the floor and rams Bret face first into the ring steps! Owen continues to work on Bret by ramming him into the guard railing face first. Owen proceeds to send Bret side first into the guard railing, again. Owen drops Bret with a uppercut on the floor as RAW goes to commercial. Bret fights out of a sleeper hold with right hands and nearly wins with a crucifix pin! Owen quickly recovers and punches Bret to regain control. Owen places Bret in the tree of woe and stomps away on Bret. Owen removes a top turnbuckle pad but Bret ends up ramming Owen face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Bret hits Owen with an atomic drop followed by a clothesline. Bret leaps off the middle rope to hit a forearm drop but only gets a two count. Bret drives Owen down with a back breaker and drops an elbow drop for another two count. Bret plants Owen with a pile driver but isn’t able to get a three count. Owen blocks the Sharpshooter but poking Bret in the eyes. Owen sends Bret chest first into the exposed turnbuckle! Owen covers but Bret kicks out at two. Owen heads to the top rope but misses a missile dropkick! Bret catapults Owen face first into the exposed turnbuckle! Bret gets to his feet and locks in the Sharpshooter! Owen is forced to quickly give up! (***. This was a pretty good main event that didn’t feature a lot of weapons or anything all that illegal even with the stipulation. They kept everything pretty simple and still put on a well rounded wrestling contest.)
After the match, Bret Hart kept the hold on Owen until several officials forced him to let go.

Back to McMahon and Pettengill who tell us how to order WrestleMania on pay per view.

Lawrence Taylor cut a promo regarding his match against Bam-Bam Bigelow. The main point of the promo was that he is wrestling because he has pride. Pettengill and McMahon continue to hype up the match.

Pre-tape comments from the Corporation are aired. DiBiase says that Bigelow is going to demolish Taylor. Bigelow chimes in saying that everyone is going to watch him beat Taylor up.

McMahon and Pettengill promote next week’s live RAW after Mania to close the show.

Final Thoughts: Well, they made the focus of this show to be a hard sell for WrestleMania. Thankfully, they had one match and it was a good one at that. I’ll consider this to be a good show since they promoted Mania XI throughout the show, and Bret/Owen provided some good wrestling. Even though there was only one match, it was a good go home show before Mania, in my opinion.
