TNA Final Resolution 2012 Predictions!

Final Resolution on December 9th only on pay per view.

Tomorrow night, TNA returns to pay per view with Final Resolution. Here is the card along with my predictions for the event.

For the TNA World Tag Team Championships:
[champions] Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez defend against Matt Morgan & Joey Ryan

For some reason I’m a big fan of the team of Morgan and Ryan. More so because of Ryan and not because of Morgan. I can see Morgan possibly getting a push in a singles role, but since he has had numerous failed pushes, I’m not sure if it would be successful. Being in a tag team seems to work well for him. That being said, do I see the titles switching hands? It’s possible, as I’m not sure who else Chavo and Hernandez could work with. I’m going to guess that the titles change hands here, but if they don’t, expect Aces and Eights to get the gold from the champs sooner rather than later.

For the TNA Knockouts Championship:
[champion] Tara defends against Mickie James

How many times have I said that James was going to win the championship when involved in a pay per view match? Not anymore, Mickie! Tara retains with help from Jesse.

For the TNA X-Division Championship:
[champion] Rob Van Dam defends against Kenny King

If Kenny King were to win the championship here do you have any idea how big of a momentum and memorable win that would have for him? Realistically, the stock for RVD in TNA has diminished greatly and he’s only been there for three or four years. I don’t see RVD being there long term and if you are going to have him lose to someone, have him lose to Kenny King and make the guy a star, like he should be. King gets the gold and closes 2012 with a huge win. I hope.

Aces & Eights vs. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Garrett Bischoff & Wes Briscoe
According to reports, Wes Briscoe and Garrett Bischoff are both in the Aces & Eights making this group look weaker and weaker as the days go by. That’s a rant for another day. So, I see this being really 6 on 2 with the masked invaders winning over Angle and Joe. That’s my guess.

Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries
Two of my favorite wrestlers not only in TNA but in wrestling period. This should be a solid match and the hype around it has gotten rather personal and that’s always a good thing. It’s being suggested that Aries will get another match with Hardy at Lockdown, so I’m inclined to think that Aries will be able to go over Bully here. Bully is probably going to be involved with the Lethal Lockdown anyway.

One More Time:
AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

Who cares? I don’t. Get this over with we’ve seen it a million and one times. AJ wins, carry on.

For the TNA World Heavyweight Championship:
[champion] Jeff Hardy defends against Bobby Roode

It’s one of the negatives about being an internet fan, you tend to know or have a pretty good idea as to where things are going. TNA is trying to keep Hardy under contract and he needs the title to keep him happy. So, I’d imagine Hardy will be able to finally get a win over Roode in a title match. I’m fairly sure Jeff could never pin Roode when the title was on the line. That happens on December 9th.

Those are my predictions for the event. Feel free to share your own below.
