WWF Superstars 7/1/1995
Written by: Bob Colling
World Wrestling Federation presents Superstars
Date: 7/1/1995
From: Bethlehem, PA
Matches:
1.) 1-2-3 Kid defeated Ken Reaper
2.) Kama defeated Jason Arhndt
3.) Lex Luger & Davey Boy Smith defeated Billy Mack & Lloyd Lanui
4.) Waylon Mercy defeated Bill Weaver
5.) Adam Bomb fought Henry Godwinn to a double count-out
Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Jerry Lawler can’t get the taste or smell out of his mouth due to losing the Kiss My Foot match against Bret Hart at King of the Ring. So, Lawler is at the dentist and doesn’t find the situation at all. The dentists name is Isaac Yankeem D.D.S. Lawler is outside the door and someone is screaming in pain. Lawler promises that Bret Hart will pain for what he has done to him. His dentist just so happens to have been a former pro wrestler. Yankem is going to come to the WWF and will rise to the top.
2.) This is Waylon Mercy’s debut in the WWF and won his match with a sleeper hold.
3.) The main event doesn’t last more than a minute as they quickly go to the floor and brawl. Henry sends Bomb into the ring steps and dumps his slop onto Adam. Nothing of a segment.
Final Thoughts:
Literally nothing worthwhile on this edition of Superstars aside from the continuing feud between Lawler and Hart with a new wrestler coming to the company. A forgettable episode of Superstars, no doubt.
Thanks for reading.
